Knowing Coach O, he will probably sacrifice his own personal salary to keep Aranda, E and Brady happy!! Don’t think O would ever demand Saban type money
I think this is true. Just the kind of man he is. Also he has actually kinda been doing this compared to what we would have had to pay Fisher or Herman.

I think E will move back to coaching qb's and TE's but will retain his salary level.
And I think JBrady will be OC at #1.8 mil a year.

What does E make?
800k/year
And I don't think he gives a damn that someone else is being paid more. That man is a Tiger through and through. Just pay Brady what he needs in order to stay. I'll buy extra beer at games to do my part
Coach E is currently on target to make about $1,050,000 this year WITH incentives at achieved team goals.
$500K base
$300K supplemental package
$125K Team Performance Incentives
$125K Post Season Performance Incentives
Possible extra $25k for Top Assistant Award.
There are additional incentives such as $800 mo. car allowance, etc.
If we win the CFP, Steve is probably over $1.1m.

There is no link, this will not be official till after the season, a handshake deal.
I belong to every LSU pay board, which granted is a little ridiculous, and multiple “insiders” are saying that same thing, that it is done.
It is your right to not believe it, but based on experience when this many say the same thing it’s probably true.
Like when they were saying after the spring that you would not believe the new offense, that there was no going back and many said “I don’t believe it”.
Thank God we have Woodward now instead of Alleva.
I remember when many questioned giving a 60% winner from Mich St, Saban, a 1.3 million a year contract which was the third highest salary in college football behind only Bowden and Spurrier who were making 2 million.
Joe Dean said, “I could have gotten Saban for $700,000. Lol

Everyone knows that Brady calls the plays...Ensminger delivers them. Not to take anything away from E. Keep the band together for as long as possible.
Easy now. I would say more accurately that ensminger tempers his youthful exuberance and Brady draws upon his 50 years of knowledge.
He would be a fool not to. No matter how good you are, the guy who's been seeing it for 50 years will see things you won't. Just as your young eyes will see things he can't.

I would assume we are going to a Co-Coordinator type deal that will probably turn into the OC with Ensminger mentoring him.
Steve did not want the position in the first place.

1.8 million per year confirms he has a big role in the offense.

Culotta just said it is done. 4 years, 1.8 million per year.

O, Aranda, E, and Brady salaries equal Dabo or Sabans all together if not a little less. So yes 1.8 for Brady is worth it!!!

We either pay Joe Brady or someone else will. I'd much prefer it to be us and it's not even debatable.
What Joe Brady has done in such a short amount of time to transform this offense into something that is just about unstoppable is mind boggling and worthy of a very hefty salary. It's not like we can't afford it.
Joe Brady has also transformed some of the LSU fan base to turn on and now criticize the defense when all of last year it was criticism of the offense.
Joe Brady is a genius!

I tried to explain what you said in another thread but you articulated it better. E going back to being a position coach doesn't make any sense.
It sounds good but doesn't work in real life.
9 out of 10 times i would agree with you here, but i just dont think SE cares about that kind of stuff. He would propbably rather take a lesser position than retire altogether

Then that would mean that he is now offensive coordinator.
I kind of figured that at the beginning of the year, that he would work under Steve E for a year to learn how to be a true professional, then get the OC job if that went well.
