Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase are keeping Zac Taylor employed.

Brady got fired because Matt Rhule needed a scapegoat to save his job.

Joe Brady is unemployed because Rhule used him as a scapegoat. He was the only thing that wasn’t a problem in Carolina. They have one of the worst offensive rosters in the nfl.

Yea. You're right. Brady had nothing to do with teaching Jefferson, Chase, and Marshall how to catch the football in traffic. In 2018, LSU finished 120th in the FBS in on target catch percentage. They played 2 more games in 2019 and dropped 10 less passes, ranking 50th in on target catch percentage. The LSU offense jumped from 53rd in Expected points added per play in 2018, to 1st in 2019

Bring him in as WR coach. Heck, throw in "passing game coordinator" or some such title. Profit.

Weird take. They both contributed to the greatest NC of all time. Brady will have a job before the off-season ends. Y’all are weird.

Rhule had been frustrated with Brady's play calling most of the season.

Burrow made 2019.

2018. Burrow had one of the best years of an LSU QB

In 2019 because of. Orgeron decision to go to the spread. It fit perfectly into Burrow skill set

Did Brady design plays yes. Ensminger called the plays

Burrow checked out of half of them

The key was Orgeron committing to the spread.

Yes we had great receivers

Yes Burrow and others led practices on Saturday and all through the summer

Much better team leadership

Whatever. Most of us are blind and no nothing about what really happened. Including me

How do you explain the year prior to Brady?

Very good year actually, do you even know that LSU finished 6th in the final poll

The loss to Texas A&M was not on Burrow

How can you say that 2018 was a bad year for Burrow, he was special that season also?

Joe Brady was great for LSU combining with coach E, best offense ever

Reminder, some on the LSU team felt he came in and stole L.Scott's job. He didn't have full support from that 2018 team at the beginning of the season.

Joe had more time than a month with his team before embarking on the season in 2019.

Brady deserves some credit here. He helped the receivers a ton. If you remember in 2018, we dropped a ton of passes. I mean a ton. Them doing the 10,000 catch thing they did in the off-season was a game changer. Because 2019, there were VERY FEW drops. And for that you can give Brady credit.

Ok look haters like I said I really just wanted to vent about how awesome Burrow was and thanks to O he will always be remembered as a Tigah!! The jury is still out on Brady in my opinion as far as greatness and how he was perceived after the 2019 run. Yes he was DEFINITELY a part of it, way more than O. But kinda never really heard about him before then and after his sizzle kinda faded fast. You can say all you want about the team and situation he was thrown into but what about Burrow. He went to play for the worst team in the league and many said he would be nothing because the organization sucked. shite he got killed year 1 and even had season ending surgery. Now year 2 they’re in the playoffs. Brady started the year off great as well but numbers don’t lie that’s why Joe is into round 2 of the playoffs and Brady is on the couch maybe? Keep playing the blame game for him. All I know was if Burrow and the Bengals would have gone 5-12 like the Panthers did this year (and they started 3-0 and everyone was singing Brady’s praises INCLUDING ME) you guys would have blamed the Bengals and there head coach just like your doing with Carolina and I might agree. But instead Burrow put that team on his back and think about this for a minute. He just won the first playoff game in Cincinnati in OVER 3 DECADES, YEAH 3 FUKIN DECADES!!! So like I said I have no beef with Brady and hope he does great things but first really hope he gets another shot at what he really wants which is an OC position in the league. Bookmark this and let’s revisit in 2 years. Hopefully he will and also maybe, just maybe Burrow will be a Super Bowl champ by then. All I know is I hope O is still enjoying his retirement on the beach and not in jail for date rape. Peace and see ya in 2 years baws!!

Joe threw 16 TDS in 2018.

I’m not saying Joe Brady is the only guy who could have had that offense going, but we needed someone to do it and it was Joe Brady who put Burrow in a position to shine

Brady put in a system that allowed Burrows talents to shine thru. It’s like Danielle Hunter, did arse at LSU but had the tools for the right system. Only difference is Joe got the system at LSU versus waiting for the NFL.

Tommy everybody has a pretty strong opinion here but I’m going to go with your take to a degree. I mean all of a sudden Zac Taylor is a great coach?? Burrow pulled his out of an inch from being fired. Also got O that that raise so he can afford a cheeseburger in Destin. My take is you can argue the degree to witch anyones particular coaching helps/enhances his talents, my take is Burrow makes everyone around him wealthy……
