How many fricking coaches evaluated Joe and passed? Lester, I know you enjoy being the contrarian, but you are being selective in cherry picking your facts.
Yes, Joe’s stats were as you stated. But you seem to forget that he just got to campus in what, June? You should recall the improvements he made during that season. Record setting game vs South Carolina, for example. Ole Joe really started to display the size of his nuts in the bowl game vs. UCF.
Or….who shows up in June and makes all American?

No doubt it was a combination and yes hindsight is 20/20. Elite trio of receivers at LSU and now in Cincy. As a coaching staff Burrow is not a bad franchise qb to hook your wagon on (barring injury) if you want to get paid and keep the wife happy and kids in same school.
