He will be mentioned for every job that comes open - he's not going anywhere.

What exactly links him to it? Just a mention by someone.

Hell if that's the case Nick Saban is now linked to the OC job at Texas because I say it

They can have Ensminger. He's the real architect according to some here.

If Herman isn’t delivering an offense, what exactly is he bringing to the table.

A lot of us wanted him as head coach. All of that was under the assumption that he was an elite offensive mind. UT better have its ducks in a row. Herman is admittingvthat he now needs help. And he hasn’t really done anything from a head coaching standpoint to justify that position.

This.

The other good thing about Brady is that he went to William & Mary, and not a big school that he might want to go back to, or a conference that he knows well.

I think...HOPE...that Brady knows what he has here and, more than likely, the job will be his alone in the not too distant future - I mean, let's be real here.

Besides, why leave a National Championship contender for a school that lives in the past and cannot even make a strong claim to being one of the best three teams in their own state year after year.

Yeah seriously, his whole appeal was being the Ohio State offensive coordinator.

Texas is one below average season from Herman getting canned, Brady isn't going there. They are going to have a pie in the sky wishlist and get someone middle of the road.

Keep in mind that Steve Ensminger was a part of this new offense and was witness to how this entire season unfolded. I assure you that Steve Ensminger can run this Ferrari too. With that being said, we certainly want to keep Joe Brady.

I'd rather not find that out just yet.

LOL, isn't all of Herman's 'value' vested in being an 'offensive genius' who wins big games?

Why would anyone, especially Brady, want to go compete with the HC for his job.

Unless Herman's wife is doing strip shows next to the ice baths... then by all means.

Of course he is. And Texas fans will tell LSU how they have more money than God.

According to many posters on here it’s been the foundation of O and Slinger that is the main reason for the offensive success and Brady has just given some tips and tricks. Maybe they should think about saving some money and letting him walk and keep the real magic in house.
