During his watch, whether warranted or not the graduation rate has gone through the roof. That is why he is now a not only the AD but a "chancellor" at LSU. Whatever the heck that is.

Alleva’s legacy will ALWAYS be destroying the Duke Lacrosse program, the career of the coach, and the reputations of all the players over the (later admitted) lying accusations of a Hooker who ended up going to prison for murder.

Wrong. He was given the vice chancellor title to justify one if his ridiculous pay raises. It has nothing to do without academic performance. Part of Herb Vincent's title before he left lsu was Associate Vice Chancellor for University Relations.
