I don't disagree with wanting to better LSU's situation; however, the way Alleva handled it even before F. King intervened was just atrocious. The way it should have been handled was how UGA let Richt go.

I never understood why JA gets any credit for the success of Duke bball. Coach K had that program on cruise control well before JA got there in the late 90's. He should be on the hot seat after the way he handled the Miles situation. The national perception of LSU athletics has taken a beating over the last 6 months and someone should be held accountable.

Except for they got Kirby Smart out of it in the end. I would have been beyond pissed if LSU fired Miles for Kirby Smart.

This is just false. It took a hit during the end of November but then was praised for the way Miles bounced back in the bowl game and recruiting. It is taking another hit but once the tournament starts the national media will move on and LSU will not be talked about again.

Also no grade for upgrading facilities in non revenue sports to allow them to compete at a national level or upgrading the outside of Tiger Stadium. People think that the AD's job is just to sit around and hire and fire coaches.

Other coaches aside, he gets an F for the handling of Miles. I don't care about professionalism or what was going on in the background... You don't treat someone like that, period.

I agree, if they terminated Miles before Jimbo was inked and had to get someone unproven, I would have been irate, too. (Who knows, maybe Smart will be great for UGA.)
