Joe Alleva currently working with the SEC on a resolution

Per Brody Miller
#LSU athletic director Joe Alleva has been on the phones with SEC officials since the targeting call was made on Devin White. There's no appeal process in place, but he's still working it.
The SEC is reviewing the call, but with no formal appeal process in place there isn't a clear path forward. #LSU

At the end of the day, if all the anger from this in the next two weeks can be used as motivation by the team, it will be worth it no matter the outcome.
Any edge, perceived or real, is good for this game.

Get this done Joe and you will have my respect

It’s been done before, Moscona talked about it this morning on Morning Scone

He might have some chips to spend. Who knows?

I think you can add Orgeron to that list

With Joe on the case they will probably suspend Greedy and Delpit too!!

Admit it. If Joe gets this overturned, he gets a pass on everything for at least the rest of the year.

Video of SEC official taking call

National media has been all over it. Golic and several others have even expressed their disguist for the call. I guess the SEC thought it would be a non issue at first. To review the play that fast, force Fitzgerald to leave for no reason, and put out a statement on Twitter after the game, they tried to cover all bases, but the outpoor of emotion is being heard to a degree

Agreed

I don’t see this changing, but it’s good to see Alleva working on the situation.

If there is no appeal process how does it get thrown out. Saban is probably working behind the scenes to make sure no special exceptions are made.

They should put the videos of Alabama hit on Tennessee QB, OSU on Purdue QB, and DW hit on MSU QB next to each other and see what targeting is.

Please don’t criticize Joe when the SEC elects not to overturn the call.

If Joe overturns this, I will take back all (most?) of the things I have said about him
