Besides being a complete pushover, the other primary knock on Alleva is that he is out of touch with the fanbase. And right here, when asked directly to try relate to the fanbase his response is "nope, I'm right and they're wrong".
How hard would it have been to answer that with "we hear you and we're trying to get to the bottom of the situation so LSU can have the best team in the nation"?

1) Middle management
2) Management of anything more than shift manager at Taco Bell
3) A college degree
4) Business success
5) A leadership role in anything

What do you morons expect him to say? LSU is an educational institution first, & winning sports teams follow that. I hate when LSU loses, especially football games. I carry those loses for at least a week or until the next game. We need to remember that LSU exist's to prepare kids for their future life. GET REAL PEOPLE!

Well, you are the director of LSU athletics and Wade’s direct boss and he’s not being allowed to coach currently.
If you don’t agree with decision to suspend him, perhaps you should have noted your disapproval publicly at some time in this process. If you did agree, then yes, you’re going to catch the blame. Part of being a boss is to stand up for those you supervise if you think they are being suspended unfairly. I haven’t seen you do that. So, if you are part of making the decision, say you made the decision.
