May not live up to Skip’s but I dont Think anyone is

I'm not sold 100%, but it's a similar situation to what he walked into at Arizona, and he did well there. Arizona is a historically successful program. Not quite as many skins as LSU, but they are 100% in the ballpark. Much like LSU now, they were in a slump when he arrived. He did a solid job of making them a legitimate contender, which is where we should be year in and year out.

He has experience bringing a slumping winner back to winning.

What legacy? Not coaching the kids on fundamentals like proper baserunning? If JJ can get the kids to stop running into outs and costing a run per game because of poor decisions, then it will be worth it
