JJ should surprise the team Saturday by having Skip address the team.

Let Skip bring a rope and his 5 NC rings for display. Let them know don't squander this opportunity, etc. I even hope Skip is in the stands this weekend.

I'm sure he'll be there, one of the announcers even mentioned last night that he was coming back

We should have Les Miles address the team before the FSU game

All the coaches will be there this weekend. Mulkey will be caught on camera saying “frick yes!” Kelly will be chest bumping Beth Torina. Matt McMahon will be on his phone recruiting. Dennis Shaver will be twirling his mustache in honor of Paul Skenes.

People keep bringing this up. But JJ has done this recently. Skip is an amazing motivator. It also seems that whatever JJ is doing, it's working.

I'd rather Burrow be a surprise visit, feel like this would amp them up even more, as if they need it.

Because that’s even remotely the same thing

Why would he let another coach address HIS team? Most, if not all, of these guys weren't even alive when Skip won his last championship. They know the history of LSU baseball, but Skip is not some "iconic" figure in their minds like he is for the fans/players that lived through the 80's - 90's.

Most of them don’t know much about Skip. It’s sounds like a nice idea but in reality it’s a new era of baseball with a whole new set of rules. We’re creating a whole new legacy here at LSU in all of sports.

Agreed
If you have paid any attention to this team you know Johnson is an excellent motivator

No they should bring in James Carville and have him regale them with tales of his 1992 Presidential election win.

Don't bring the rings. You don't want them overthinking it and playing tight

Skip has already done this. This is jay’s team, he needs to be the motivator. And I think he will be.

Let's bring the softball superfan into the dugout with his wrestling belt while we're at it.
