chip kelly would be a disaster at LSU. if nothing else he is well know to consider recruiting to be an after thought -- Nike got more guy to the Ducks than Kelly did -- and he had to be talked into Mariotta, the best player in the history of their program, at the last minute by Helfrich.
you can do that "more with less" thing in the PAC, where no one recruits especially well, but it will get you killed in the SECW.

I have an LSU degree and hiring an a-hole for a football coach is not going to cheapen it. Really, that's absurd.

what in your mind makes you think retard Les can handle being AD?

Yeah I don't get the les to ad talk. He can't manage a game clock, and you want him in charge of scheduling, hundreds of millions of dollars, and contracts?

Love how you guys read things how you want. The very first line of the article says Les Miles time MAY be coming to an end.

LSU brass has been vetting other coaches they may be interested in hiring as replacements, and it is apparent that the foundation wants the hire to be an established coach, not a rising star in the coaching ranks.
My bullshite radar went off on reading this...lol What kind of "brass" ignores the future Saban and Spurriers?
I call BS

So do we need to add your name to the "talking out of their arse" cub?

Cling till the very end.

Goddammit, shut up. Plenty of us have multiple degrees from lsu and want to win above all else. Just because you're a huge pussy doesn't mean we all are.

If Miles were AD, he'd probably hire a HC that has the same offensive philosophy as he does... yeah no.

Article lost all credibility with the last sentence.

Article sucks.
1. Mentioning Gruden is retarded
2. There isn't a consensus yet but change is imminent? Nice contradiction Jimmy.

Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher is the main target for many foundation members; with names like Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney, TCU head coach Gary Patterson and even former NFL coach Jon Gruden being tossed around as well
Dabo's dream job is Saban current job so cut him out.
Patterson loves Fort Worth so cut him out.
Gruden... Well cut him out.
Two best options and possibilities :
1. Jimbo
2. Mullens
I personally like:
1. Josh McDaniel
2. Herman

I'll be praying every night that we don't hire freaking Dan Humpback Mullen
You are a moron
Dan Mullen took Dak Prescott (a 3 star dual threat that Miles originally wanted to play FB or TE) a Louisiana recruit and die this to LSU in 2 starts.
49/76 (64.4%) 603 yards (7.93 ypa) 3 TDs
32 carries 86 yards 2 TDs
Josh Robinson, a 3 star RB from Louisiana went 6 carries 40 yards his sophomore year, and 16 car 197 yards 1 TD his junior year vs LSU.
Mullen is taking scraps, 2-3 star recruits, and has a chance to have back to back 10 win seasons in freaking Starkville!
His list of QBs he has recruited and/or coached is incredibly impressive
Bowling Green
Josh Harris
Utah
Alex Smith
Brian Johnson
Florida
Chris Leak
Tim Tebow
Cam Newton
Mississippi St
Tyler Russell (broke Miss St passing records before he got hurt and Dak took over)
Dak Prescott
His offensive system is a match made in heaven for the athletes and QBs Louisiana produces. His defense has remained relatively the same this year, and greatly improved in pass defense, and he lost nearly the entire starting line up and his defensive coordinator. He lost all but one of his starting OL, but they have passed for 3460 yards, over 66% at 8.4 ypa with 27 TDs to 3 ints in 11 games.
He has recruited in the SEC since 2005 and has HC in the SEC West since 2009.

Doesn't Mullen have some stupid big buyout for leaving for an SEC team?
