Semantics, but, Billy cannon didn't win the natty. There was no national championship game in 1958, therefore there was nothing to win. His team went undefeated that year and was voted the national champion by multiple outlets like the AP. They played an 8-3 Clemson team in the Sugar Bowl to end that season.

Rome is absolutely spot on. JD has gotten some bad guidance from “the family”. LSU can’t retire numbers Willy nilly. With the great players and their accomplishments that happen on the stage of LSU football, we would quickly run out out of numbers. Should we have to start using Roman numerals or alphabets ?

A lot of LSU people never liked JD ever since he came. They low key hate him and it’s coming out again now. It’s archived in TD. They wanted Nuss so bad lol.

I wonder what Rome‘s handle is on TD. Also, I’m 50-50 on Rome and I definitely like that take but the little sound bites that come in are kind of dumb but I know that’s part of his show along with the ERGGGHHHH.

Coming to LSU made Jaden Daniels all the money that he has. LSU changed his life. He should let this go.
