I’d love to see him come here but I can’t see him leaving his alma mater.

But it’s possible. Would be a slam dunk hire.

I Just don’t believe he’s going to leave Wisconsin. Interview and leave interview with an answer. Don’t waste time.

I wish they would whack these threads about Jeff Leonhard! He is not coming to LSU under any circumstances . Well maybe under the condition of head coach. But even that is doubtful. There have been so many threads about him and always they end with:
1. He is an alumni of the University of Wisconsin.
2. He has a lot of money from playing football and coaching football at the NFL.
3. He is already making 1 million a year.
4. His love and more importantly his Wife’s love, for Wisconsin far exceeds his love for anywhere else in this world.

I would like to add to this that people that live in Madison really, really love Madison.

If Leonhard is going anywhere else in the college game, its as a head coach.

Do you honestly think that all these teams, including Bama, have not reached out to his agent over the last few years? He has been great since Aranda left Wisconsin including beating LSU in 2016. He had players like TJ Watt. His answers are always the same. He has plenty of money ans love Madison. He will be their next HC. His dream job at his Alma Mater.

Okay, made $10 MM paid about $4 MM in taxes; spent another $2 MM on life; and now he has, max, $4 MM left. Is that supposed to be a fortune that makes him financially independent?

Bo Pelini had way more than that and we were able to hire him. Your last point, about him not leaving his alma mater, might be valid but not the he’s rich argument.

Unless he has a double, he is an alumnus of Wisconsin.
