Jeremy Hill pretty much won the game today without any threat of pass at all.

Distinct possibility. The Panthers will be looking for a back, maybe not first round, though. The two they have are good, but getting old and prone to injuries.

2000 yes on the season if he carried more per game. But, a great season all things considered.

Where are those idiots like Dukke V who were dissing him talking about he doesn't run hard

I am right here and YES he ran hard today....But he pouted for a few games after Miles took him out in the Ole Miss game for the FUMBLE....

He is a real good RB but will still not be taken until the third round.. Just MY OPINION... I hope he goes in the 1st.... BUT,..............

I think there have been a few LSU backs in the NFL that were much better than Charles Alexander.

Hilliard, Faulk, Dominick Davis, hell maybe even Ridley, all had better NFL careers than Alexander.

Alexander was a great college RB (arguably the best ever at LSU). He was sort of an NFL bust, though. Weird guy to choose for your example.

Not really... He was an important part of the Cinncy Bengals SB run in 1981. Most great RBS in college are NOT superstar rbs in the pros....

He was a bust. He was the 12th overall pick in the draft and never led his team in rushing

It's why I said "sort of." He had a decent workman type career with Cincy. Those other guys all had much more impressive years than his best.

In a different era... Hill COULD be a good pro rb... But they area dime a dozen now a days.

He had a monster year and didn't even really play full games for the first few games due to a pseudo suspension for his off season issues.

Awesome RB. I hope he comes back. Can you imagine if we get Leonard Fournette as well? Run every down!

He didn't play at all in the first game either.

He is a top 5 , maybe top 3 RB at LSU. Incredible talent

Incredible year. Hill broke the LSU yards per carry record by almost a yard and a half. Second most rushing yards in LSU history, but wasn't even in the top ten in terms of number of carries. Just as an example, in Charles Alexander's record season he had over 300 carries; this year Hill had just over 200.

Dude was one parking lot fight away from going to NYC for the Heisman ceremony. Unfortunately, that fight is about all he's known for nationally.

Highly doubt it. Running backs aren't nearly as valuable

Top 45 picks imo.

Mark Ingram in 2009 when he won heisman had 1500 with 6.1 per carry and 15 TDs.

Just for comparison
