To imagine Harris is not even on that level, yet.

Harris does struggle to get plays in. He came off the sideline without knowing the play or being able to understand it against Alabama.

Granted Jennings went the opposite way as the rest of the offense one or two times. So, not sure he is getting the plays in either.

Exactly, let's get players who fit the position and stage. Or we could continue to push a square peg in a round hole.

well, different coordinators, different o-lines, different defenses, more difficult SEC West schedule this year, etc...

I mean, what is the point of this comparison? To show that Jefferson had better stats against a less difficult schedule?

Let me illustrate just how bad it is. JJ played his sophomore year with effectively no running game. Our SEASON rushing total was 1596 yards.

This year, we are already over 2200 yards.

Comparing AJ to Lee or Jefferson is unfair to Lee and Jefferson. They both played their first two years with crappy defenses and were FORCED to pass meaning teams KNEW they would pass. AJ throws against 8 men in the box.

With a much worse supporting cast on both sides of the ball, mind you....

I don't think there's that much disparity between the '09 and '14 schedules.

Well. Um, how'd AJ do against our weak opponents?

Looking at 2009, JJ NEVER completed fewer than 50% of his passes. Don't even look up AJs. It'll make you ill. The schedule hasn't been a 10 game murderers row for crying out loud.

Against that "weaker" schedule you mentioned, we FINISHED the season with 700 yards fewer rushing than we have NOW this season.

This brings up a good point, Why can't we dumb down the play book for Harris? He's very talented but obviously struggling with the mental part. Understandable for a freshman, but I refuse to believe he's dumber than Jamies Winston, and he did ok as a freshman. There's gotta be a way to simplify the offense for him.

*yes I know Winston was a redshirt freshman, but still the point remains. He is a dumbass.

If we are using the 10 game measurement, then Jefferson had also lost only 2 games he had started. #3 Florida and @ #1 Bama. Lost @ #20 Ole Miss and #9 Penn St in the bowl game after that point with a win over Arkansas mixed in.

Brandon Lafell (Sr) and Richard Dickson (Sr) are significantly better than any receiver currently on LSU's roster. Dural Dupre & Quinn might match them one day, but not yet.

Dural is a beast. We could have Calvin Johnson on our team and he probably wouldn't even be all-SEC with our QB situation.

Why are you lauging? That is the best case scenario for LSUs opponents. I assumed MSU undefeated, AU with 3 losses, Bama with 2, and OM with 3.

You mean LSU has lost 2 out of the 9 he has started. He's not doing much to win those games.

Jefferson did better than what most people thought, he definitely was better than what Jennings is right now.

Quinn couldn't catch Ebola in Sierra Leone right now.

His drops could have changed the game Sat night but not much mention about that.
