it legit seems like if you put Justin Jefferson at QB for a season you would get the exact same results.

Cam jacked Jefferson’s celebration lol

You don’t really believe Jefferson did something before Cam do you? They literally did a Game Day special with Cam where he documented all the times he did it and how he was the first to do it.

I think this is the game that was the final straw of Les Miles for many LSU fans. Many (including myself) were done with him after this one. A lot of people wanted to hang on to the wins and losses, but it went deeper than that. For many of the games that we did win, it was some miracle or fiasco that happened. This was just another example of that.

He gave us solid wins and was definitely entertaining (at times) with his trickery and some of his quirky commentary. But by and large, watching his brand of LSU football was like watching paint dry. Night and day compared to the past two years. For starters, we can get an offensive play in on time.

never have i left a game, after a win, so pissed off

I was an OOS student, and it is the only game that my parents have been to in Tiger Stadium (my dad also went with me to Lambeau.)

I still feel bad that it is their first and only experience in Death Valley. Sure the ending was insane but the rest of the game was a snoozer, and not even a night game.

At least the tailgating was fun.

I've been going to LSU games since 1961 & I have never ever seen LSU fans so angry. People were speed walking down the ramp, just screaming & cursing. The hate was a physical sensation it was so intense. Just screams and curses ,as loud as humanly possible, bouncing off the inside of TS.

Jordan could have been much more effective if he was allowed to be what he was - a really good athlete. Instead, Miles kept trying to pound that square peg in the round hole. Miles kept saying he wanted a dual-threat QB, but he never allowed him to be either: he didn't run much and wasn't a drop-back passer. Just an awful fit.

IMO he ran entirely too much. We always had good running backs who could have done better. JJ had the worst running instincts for any football player and his knowledge of playing QB was on a pee wee level. How we couldn't get another QB in for 2010 is pretty unbelievable.

I was at this one as well. If you were piss drunk and just came out of a blackout long enough to realize we won the game, you were happy. If you sat through the whole thing, you were pissed off so much that you didn't give a shite that we won (as illogical as that sounds).

It was like a family member that you really love struggling with alcoholism just walked up to you and paid back a debt that he owed you, and told you he fell off the wagon again. All in the same breath. That feeling.

You know how kids will sometimes do mean things with magnifying glasses to bugs.

Les does that to football game clocks.

This is the ultimate Les Miles game. This is also the ultimate Derek Dooley game. It just summed up both of their experiences at LSU & Tennessee, so we’ll!

Luck was in Les’ corner for the most part of his career at LSU. What a wild ride that was.
