Saban was stacking 9 in the box because he didn't respect JJ as a passer. Kind of difficult for 6 to blocck 9.

Yeah, but what about the fight at Shady's?

frick, this is dumb.

This should be a fun thread.
Jefferson is a typical spoiled athlete. Grew up always being the best player on his team. Never learned to correctly deal with failure and accept responsibility for it.

I actually thought it was a very good interview. A lot of interesting info about the game.
It seems like LSU was running some plays to get to other plays in the playbook but could never run the 1st plays properly. I don't think the other plays in the gameplan would have worked unless the 1st plays were run properly(basically setting up the opposing defense).
In essence, their gameplan was fricked by half time and they should have scraped it and tried something else.

I am almost certain that plays they practiced were called but Jefferson refused to throw the football.

JJ and Les really are made foe each other, maybe CBS can sign them to their own Soap Opera deal

Truth. The Bama defense played to stop two things. The option and the deep ball. The intermediate routes were open. I just dont think we had a qb that could them the ball. They should have tried Lee, even though I think he would have gotten sacked or thrown interceptions.
Bama's defense played LSU's offense perfectly basically eliminating our strengths daring us to do something different. Well LSU didnt do anything different.

Still waiting on Delarge05 to chime in.

(Jefferson's quote from interview) ...it comes to mind to our receivers and tight ends and, you know we have great guys in those areas and sometimes we just wonder why we don't use those guys...
Such a NegaTiger!
They should have asked him if he thought Lee should have come into the game.

He should watch the film of another QB who doesn't have monster physical gifts--Eli Manning in the Super Bowl. Count to 3 and check to see if the football is still in your hand. If it is, you screwed up. See how many times Manning still had the ball 3 seconds after the snap. Not many.

He was on Houston station last night. Was pretty interesting. Said he had nothing to do with fight at reggies. Also said one of his strongest traits was his leadership.
THIS is why former JJ supporters as myself are so pissed. His leadership was putrid in the games he played and he thinks he played well in those games. The dude just does not get it and blames everyone else but himself.
GOOD RIDDANCE a-hole!!!

Jefferson:
Did he have a lobotomy?

A lot of people think I can't throw the ball, but I proved them wrong in my play vesus Alabama.
Did he have a lobotomy?

He talks about how great his arm is and how he has been working on his footwork for the combine. Also, talks about the Bama gameplan, or lack thereof, and coaches not calling what was practiced.
So, basically he still thinks he's great and all his failures are other people's fault. Nothing new here.

Unfortunately, his coaches in college made absolutely zero effort to teach him anything about that.

He has gone away.
Why does a guy who will no longer have any impact at LSU, bother so many of you.
He had an interview on a radio station this morning where all he did is point blame for the BCS game at everyone else and basically throw the coaches under the bus. Not exactly going away bro.
It bothers me b/c it was a month ago and then he's on the radio rehashing that shitty game.

Bama had 0 QB hurries all game
and 0 sacks in the 1st half
yeah there were 4 sacks in the 2nd half but at least 2 were at least partly on JJ not getting rid of the ball (no shocker there).
