If you love LSU football. You start looking to move on. You wants whats best for the team.

If you're a Troll or a Gump you're here to run down the program, the players and the fans...

I knew Les would handle it correctly - and he has.

Agreed!

With the conflicts in statements in this case, LSU had to support the players till the police/DA made a decision.

Now, it's time to rally behind those on the team who will be playing and hope justice is served for ALL others be they LSU guys or not.

Legit question, do you guys think that they need to be found guilty to sit, or just charged with the crime? Basically, do you think Les will allow them back to play before the legal issues are cleared up.

2 separate issues- IMO.

There has to be some evidence or they would not have issued warrants for such a sensitive issue.now
I believe the outcome, will determine the length of suspension.

I think that Jefferson and Johns will be suspended for the season, at least unless they are ultimately cleared. If they are found guilty of anything, they should have to sit the season, if not kicked off the team.

While I was sleeping, dreaming of beating Oregon with my talented LSU tiger football team some of the LSU football players were fighting out side a bar called Shades.

I am speechless.
Where were the LSU coaching Staff?
Who do we trust now?

I have been following this situation closely since the whole affair came to light. As a retired state trooper, I have laughed at some of the comments coming from people who have no clue how the investigation process works nor how the court system works. I think Coach Miles has acted properly in this case. He waited for the process to unfold and then took action. To all the people who want to start more JJ/JL animosity, please take a look in the mirror and ask yourself if you like what you see. Are you proud of yourself? it is time for real fans to shut up, get behind whoever plays and support OUR team. If you feel satisfaction because some kid messed up his life, then shame on you.

Wow.....this has been an off-season to forget. I sure hope we can hold the program togather while on probation. Last think we need is for the NCAA to start sniffing around.....

Lee will be up to the challenge! You gotta have faith!

This tell me Miles may have received info/tip from BRPD that:

A) there is overwhelming evidence these two were significantly involved

B) arrests are forthcoming for these two

C) both A and B

whatta ya going to do when they come for you ? Cops filmed on location at Louisiana State University where drinking and fighting are a way of life. All suspects are guilty unless paid off by the LSU boosters.

what is best for the Team? that les miles, the leader of 100+ young men, does the right, moral, and ethical thing. I care about the long term stability and outlook for these players. There are lessons here that can be learned that transcend football. Life lessons can be learned here. Thats what is so great about the game of football.

He is one of the biggest influences in these kids lives so he must discipline them appropriately. If he sees his job as solely "Winning games" so be it. But he would be failing 100s of young men and 95% of the roster, which doesnt make the NFL, would not benefit from the mentorship that they diligently worked hard for to earn through the means of an full athletic scholarship.
