Jeff Palermo this morning on 103.7 in Lafayette

Was listening to The Game this morning and they had Palermo on as a guest (anyone else hear this?)
This cat had the gall to say that LSU was lucky on Saturday, said that everything was going the Tigers' way that day and that if they played again on another day, Georgia would likely win.
Does he really believe that shtick? What kind of LSU fan talks like that? Embarrassing, downplaying the arse kicking that LSU gave UGA for ratings, this is the worst kind of treachery, sold out the team for a few extra clicks and views.
I have zero respect for this guy now and he really should go cover some other team. It really pisses me off to hear this shite.
What will it take before the talking heads give this team its due? They are a good football team, they aren't pretty but they play like warriors and are very well coached.

We had a better gameplan and our players executed better. Could UGA win a rematch? Of course. But saying we just got lucky is fricking absurd.

That’s BS. He needs to give credit where it is due. You don’t luck yourself into a 20 point win against the #2 team that is talented across the board, and was in the championship last year. LSU beat them on both sides of the ball period. We took that game.

103.7 is very pro ULL, which in their minds means they have to be very anti LSU, because they think that the hate for LSU is big in the Lafayette region. I think they are idiots, but ULL fans do seem to irrationally hate LSU.

Georgia was shut out on the first half.
LSUs kicker outscored Georgia for the game.
LSU won by 20 points.
Was 13-0 at the half and Georgia never got closer than 9 points behind.
LSUs offense stalled numerous times in the Red Zone, so the score could easily have been much much worse.
This was not a fluke win. A lot of us who are not big fans of Ed often point to the final score of LSU wins as not being indicative of how close the game actually was. This is another case of that, only this time LSU beat the shot out of Georgia much WORSE than the score indicated.
Maybe the most dominant win against a really good opponent sine the V Tech arse whipping.

Yes he is and it’s completely obvious. It’s even obvious that he gives his guests a rough draft on what to say. It doesn’t matter who his guest call in guy is, they always up play MS State and even Ole Miss but to a lesser degree and downplay LSU. I’ve listened to his guest completely contradict what they’ve said on previous shows just to up play the Mississippi schools and downplay most others.
I missed him this morning. Really was looking forward to hearing his bullshite take on the LSU Georgia game. What negative crap did he have to say about LSU this time? I’m sure he has MS State rolling LSU and Fitz running for 400 yards and that Georgia was a fluke.
