I don't understand how LSU administration didn't have enough power to just tell the governor No in regards to bringing a tiger on the field. And do everything in their power to keep it from happening. What's the worst that would have happened?

Yep, when Landry did all he could to make JBE's life miserable I was good with it cause when JBE made that statement about having to shut down LSU and football if he didn't get his economic plans passed, I was done with him.
Come to find out Landry's antics were really about trying to promote himself and had little real virtue or value. Which he has proven by his repeated forays into LSU business that he has no clue about and comes out looking like an arse.
