Bringing the tiger on the field ain’t going to harm him. Everybody so worried about the tiger’s feelings. It’s a predatory cat. These animals are extremely resilient. Yea sure it’s not natural to be surrounded by screaming fans but I’ve seen the crowds that gather around his cage on game days anyway. It sucks that it takes a coon arse to talk any sense into you BR educated folk that we should celebrate having this amazing tiger by having his presence felt on the field during pregame.

I’m actually enjoying listening to all of the conservatives on this site turning on their choice for Governor and realizing what an idiot and buffoon he is.
I hang out on the OT and it was 40/60 like/don’t like even before the election, and it hasn’t improved. The guy is an idiot.

It’s like they forget that so called moderate Democrats in statewide offices will tow the leftist/liberal party line when told to do so. Dems are party first, or they leave the party. Just not doing woke dem crap or allowing it is an improvement over last 8 years and any dem that ran this time.

I keep seeing this narrative, that LSU had to make concessions and promises to some mysterious power that has the authority to tell state universities to do with their mascots- I just don’t believe that’s true… yes there is some agency(???) that offers accreditation to “wildlife sanctuaries” but they have no over-arching authority- there are over 10,000 tigers in private captivity in the US; there’s no one agency that tells the owners what they must do-
If we said “it’s OUR tiger and we can take him for a ride if we want to”, do you think some squad would come and forcibly take Mike and drive away with him?
I think we voluntarily made promises and concessions to appease some opposition, but it wasn’t some “binding contract”, hashed out legal settlement.
