For the same reason someone would bring a dog to a bar but not a tiger. Because the dog is domesticated and a tiger is a wild animal. The tiger isn’t meant to even have human contact.

Oh for frick sakes! The Tiger would be in a cage. A live Tiger had been paraded around the field in a cage for decades to no ill affects to the Tiger. You PETA people need to get a life.

E.T.A. A bunch of Kamala's down voting this post.

It's not pita people. It's been explained on this board numerous times that part of being able to become a tiger sanctuary, and even being able to get a tiger, depended on not parading the animal around the stadium in a cage. If that's what it takes for LSU to keep it's mascot, then LSU should certainly comply.

Know you didn't spell it like this; it was the person you're responding to, but it's PETA.

How can you possibly know that it had no ill effects on the Tiger? And just so we’re clear, its effects not “affects” which is a verb. Hard to take anyone with this argument seriously, but even more so when they can’t operate the English language properly.

The Gov should spend a little more time focusing on the enept and mismanaged for decades State Dept of Highways instead of having such a hardon for this live tiger gameday bullshite. I swear Ive gotta get my truck realignment done every time I go back home to La.

Did any of the Mike's die from riding around in the cage? Were their lives cut short because a few days out of 365 days they took a ride around the stadium? How do you know they didn't love it?

Bring a tiger into the stadium. It was great to see the Tiger come into the stadium for years. Tiger can handle a trip into the stadium like Tusk , and the Buffalo, etc.

Buuuut would you bring a dog to a bar in a cage?

Or bring a tiger to a bar on a leash?

We’re talking about a tiger here. They’ll put some tranquilizer in it and cage it and parade it around the stadium. It isn’t going to hurt anyone

I despise the choice the collective religious cultists of our state made AND it gives me such hope to see my fellow tiger fans state the obvious : this USL Alumni is no Tiger fan.

Has anyone suggested that we parachute our Tiger into the stadium right before kickoff? And if Mike lands in stands, oh well.

He doesn’t know or care what kind of effect this would have on Mike. He’s just pandering to the ignorant mouth breathers in the Republican base. That’s what populists do.
