This is Rant logic, Dak Prescott had more rushing yards in college than Justin Fieids or Mike Vick so he’s a better runner.

I’ll add to that. Dak Prescott was underrated coming out of high school so any lower rated QB can become Dak

Look at the amount of plays both ran in their first year here. Look at the style of offense and run pass ratio. Playing QB is more than stats, there are plenty of QBs with gaudy numbers who were average to below average QBs.
I don't understand what you are getting at here bud.
Joe Burrow 2018:
219/379 passing
We ran the ball about 480 times that year
Jayden Daniels 2019:
254/371 Passing
We ran the ball about 510 times that year

Horse shite. Jayden didn't beat Bama.
The defense was playing championship ball in that three-game stretch. I'm "guessing the number of 3-n-outs LSU's defense tallied that game would rival the season high for LSU's defense this season.
I'm not saying he can't improve but Jayden Daniels didn't beat any team this season. He is not a qb "currently" that can put a team on his back/carry them when the team needs him too.

I guess he didn't throw 2 TDs, run another one in, and throw the game winning 2 point conversion

Y'all will do anything to berate this guy

Did he? He had 4 straight 3 and out drives (or 3 with another resulting in a turnover on the 2nd play) totaling -6 yards in the first half. He was 1/6 for 9 yards with an interception, and a sack on those 4 drives. He had a pretty good start and a decent drive to close the half but was shut down the majority of the 1st half.
Well, shite...I remembered wrong.

My man's had 300 of our 367 yards and 3 TDs including a 25 yard TD run in overtime and they wanna say "he didn't beat Bama"

OP’s point is dumb. The strength of the rest of draft class doesn’t matter. Last year showed that if the QB class sucks, they just don’t get drafted until later rounds. Conversely, If there are five great QBs in one draft, they will all go in the first round (we saw that the year before). If Jayden thinks he will be a better quarterback after another year at LSU, he should stay and could definitely get drafted higher even if he is still the 5th best QB in that draft.

You’re forgetting 180 rushes for Daniels

And Joe had 128 rushes in 2018. Our running game was also better in 2018 and we had way more designed runs for Daniels this year. So a difference of 50 rushes.

Yeah yeah. Sure.
I suppose players can’t improve one year to the next.
Dummy.

Your reply makes no sense. Not even to the title of the OP.

Neither does your original post. Dummy.

50 plays is about a 2 game difference in that 2018 offense for burrow and you’re wrong about the running games effectiveness. Our other ball carriers averaged 4.3 and 4.5 ypc on that team, this year our other ball carriers averaged 5.5, 4.7, 5.2 and 5.9. JD was 10th in the SEC in yards per pass and 24th in ypc. That isn’t good, he was also 126th nationally in sacks taken despite the Oline being 8th in pressures allowed.

JD needs to improve on decision making and decisiveness. Decision making and decisiveness takes practice reps with your receivers, a lot of practice reps. There is just not enough time in the college game for JD to improve that much.
What kind of improvement would you say Joe Burrow made between his junior and senior year?
