So it is true then that he has gotten MUCH better. Great news. SEC championship here we come!

Maybe if he CAN’T run, he will be more aggressive throwing it. Someone else will need to step up running the ball.

No way this happens. No.Way.

Now do the UF, Ole miss, Alabama stats…

Actually I’ll do em!

7 Pass TDs
7 Rush TDs

14 total TDs….

And why can’t he get back to that?

PS: Jayden has more total TDs than Joe Burrow did his junior year. Once he throws 2 more TDs he will have more pass TDs then Joe did his junior year with less interceptions and a better completion percentage but he still sucks right? —- not saying he’s better than burrow but just suggesting players can develop a lot from year 1 to year 2 in a new system much like burrow did.

Yes he does. Losers quote such statistics.

JD5 had 2 games with 8 completions and less than 90yds. LSU still won.

The good teams take out the best players on defense. See A&M. You can't rely on defense to make up for your offensive shortcomings and be a championship contender.

Since numbers and statistics don’t matter I guess that means Tom Brady isn’t the goat bc 7 Super Bowls is a statistic but statistics are for losers right?

So you’re jus ignoring the UAB game?

Where JD threw for a whole 1 TD?

You might want to let that one go

1 passing and 1 rushing TD in 3 games.

205 yards rushing = 68 yards/game
572 passing = 190 yards/game

61.2 avg QBR over the last 3 games. that 9.9 QBR against arkansas and 7 sacks really drags him down.

77.8 QBR for the year and 40 sacks taken. 40 sacks is typically unheard of in 12 games for a QB that has the speed daniels does.

That’s a good question and one everyone is asking “why can’t he get back to that 3 game stretch of FL, OM, and Bama?” That’s where he needs to be. Arky, Aub, and A&M are unacceptable going forward.

If he is the QB and he is a leader he needs to step up. Throw the dang ball and quit being scared.

he had some big drops ( 2 for 1st downs and 1 for a td) that really hurt in the A&M game...I still think that was a TD catch though. The bad play was when he kept the ball on third down and fumbled. It probably wouldn't have been a TD for us but could've been a 14 pt swing just on that play.

I truly believe that many sacks happen because he does not fundamentally understand the game. He does not have the aptitude for playing QB.

for that 3 game stretch, he pushed the ball downfield where teams had to respect it. it backed off the defense to let the ground game work.

against georgia I feel like he HAS to throw the ball downfield deep and early to back off UGA's defense.

if they don't respect the ball going downfield more than 10 yards, they will creep up in the box, shut down the run game, and mush rush the frick out of daniels.

What on God's green earth does Tom Brady have to do with JD5? Is this a serious comparison. The stats by themselves provide a limited and in JD's case, very skewed view of his abilities. He does not have the decision-making capabilities to be even a very good QB.

DEF's have adjusted to his style and now he, and our OC, will need to adjust to sustain any success.

A very controlled rush with a spy-like player around the LOS (AKA how we use Perkins) is working. Also their coverages are confusing him. GA DB's will have their hands on our WRs/TE and the windows will be small. Trust your talent and your WRs JD. You got this.

Teams finally took away his legs and said you’re going to beat us by passing the football.

That was the only time he played great was that middle stretch and he hasn’t played like that the last two SEC games and I’m not including the UAB because he should play better against freaking UAB. I would love for him to get back to that but he hasn’t. I hope he does vs Georgia!

He would’ve had a touchdown against aggy but wore long sleeves in the frigid 52 degree weather allowing the defender to grab on and pull him back. Fortunately Emery scored on the next play.
