Well when you have an entire new line and a different one every game that includes two true freshman, you will have that…

You have to take into account that earlier on he had some happy feet issues and wanted to run early, and he would lose a yard or so (which would register as a sack). So that somewhat inflated the numbers. I’m loving how he’s playing now. Let’s keep this thing rollin

Early on had new OL learning and horrible game planning with slow developing routes by Denbrock.

Exactly the reason why he’s been our best option at QB all year long. Imagine anyone else back there behind that Oline.

Don’t get me wrong, the Oline will be a strength for years to come but if not for JDs elusiveness we have a .500 record right now.

Would like to know how many are considered coverage sacks, especially in last two weeks.

Absolutely this...those who pined for Brennan and asked why....I never got that folks could not understand the logic there. It was a no-brainer to me. Brennan would have gotten killed behind that o-line.

I agree here as well.

Some of these sacks are on Daniels for holding the ball too long or not throwing the ball away when he had a chance. Sacks aren’t always the offensive lines fault, some sacks are the QB.

Why are people upset about this post? The line is new. This is an important stat. So sensitive. If the team is this good with the line being that new and that bad, there is a pretty high ceiling.

In 2019 Burrow was sacked 28 times behind an award winning OL. That’s 15 games. He was sacked 15 times through the first 8 games then got sacked 5 times against Bama @ still won.

ETA: 2018 Burrow was sacked 18 times going into Bama, where he was sacked 5 times in that one also & lost.

Long story short, what’s your point?
