We need to land some of the HS recruits in this class. There is no doubt what we need. A couple of potential starters are in the bag but we need a bunch more than that.

It’s no different than last summer, “Omaha or bust” then if it doesn’t happen “we never said that.”

I don't understand how anyone could bash him after only one season. It's pretty ridiculous.

The team actually improved tremendously in hitting/scoring and the pitching was better despite having no SP. Also won more SEC games. One win away from actually hosting a SR. A&M was a national seed and we were only 2 SEC wins different from them? He now has time to fix the holes and he is.

No JJ hate here.
Great first year and only expect it will get better as he has imprint all over the program.

His mediocre regular season and defense/error issues really made me worry a little.

Mediocre? You mean finishing better than predicted they would and having to piece together shite to make a decent turd that still made a hard run?
You’re a dumbass of mega proportions. That was a B+ First season considering all things.

They were consensus preseason ranked #8...

He had 3 yes 3 consensus AA in the lineup.

Our rival in college station with a first year head coach took his team to Omaha when his team was dogshit 29-27 year prior.

We literally have 5 Left Handed pitchers in the class that are going to make it to campus......on top of the gigantic portal moves he’s making, with no staff hired on top of that.

As an LSU fan you should feel damn good about the program

Means nothing without pitching.

I believe they worked the portal better last season. They may have had an earlier start. Good for them. They still won like 2 more SEC games than we did. That is how close we came. Couple of games go differently and we are hosting.

Again, what LSU did without SP is impressive to me. I don’t care what LSU was ranked preseason last year. We all knew we had pitching concerns.

LSU greatly improved statistically and their record from a season ago. LSU had been a .500 SEC type of team until this season.

Greatly improved? 2 1/2 game difference in record and failing to advance as far in the post season is “greatly improved?”

Have you noticed that the coach’s name may have changed but it’s the same excuses we’ve seen for the last half decade or so from the same baseball fans?

Yeah, if white swings and misses at his first pitch, they'll probably be out. Or if we don't bunt him with a runner on first.

On the bible , we had people saying berry was overrated because it took him a couple games instead of one ab to hit a 400 foot homer

Hell the NEGA-Baseball-Tigers are the absolute WORST of all the Nega-Tigs so they won’t wait until he loses a game. They’ll be back & calling CJJ a bum & calling 4 his head the 1st time LSU falls behind the 1st time in a game

Knew you would bring it up, but here ya go a-hole. Picked to finish 4th in the West by people that know baseball.
Johnson started AFTER the CWS and Schloss was there a month before. Schloss did a great job recruiting pitching and getting his team pieced together something Johnson didn’t have time to do. LINK

Oh look what can happen during the CWS - Will have 4 Top recruits from the PORTAL ALREADY. frickING DUMBASS.

I don’t give 2 fricks how well people hit. PITCHING AND DEFENSE >>>> great hitting. Look at Arky and Ole Miss you fricking tool.

it’s the same excuses

Fortunately the majority of LSU Baseball fans understand that winning the Natty in CBB EVERY SEASON simply isn't anywhere close to being a ‘Reasonable’ expectation.

However some LSU baseball fans (it appears that ur one of these ‘douche nozzles’) are completely devoid of common sense & believe anything short of a Natty is unacceptable at LSU.

Johnson has had shitty defenses his entire tenure at Arizona. And he just had an unreal world class shitty defense at lsu with exact same lineup as the previous season.

2017 Arizona: 156th (.968)
2017 LSU: 14th (.980)
2018 Arizona: 52nd (.975)
2018 LSU: 16th (.979)
2019 Arizona: 232nd (.962)
2019 LSU: 40th (.977)
2020 Arizona: 220th (.958)
2020 LSU: 31st (.979)
2021 Arizona: 159th (.967)
2021 LSU: 72nd (.973)
