Jay Johnson haters

Been down with Jay since Day 1

I thought Jay was a great hire from day 1, and now he's showing TD why.

Moral victories don’t count. Lets get back to Omaha.

That may happen more often than we'd like. If Jay hires quality assistants, they're at risk of being hired away as head coaches. But if Jay can keep bringing them in, I'm all for it.

I was a bit skeptical at first. His mediocre regular season and defense/error issues really made me worry a little. But it was his first season, so not going to judge him on it so fast. With the recruiting classes and making it to at least Hattiesburg with a decent showing with what he was working with made it much easier. With these transfers now and some staff shakeup, I'm now confident he is a great fit and our future is really bright with him. I can't wait for the ride!

Absolutely. With what he was given, Jay did a great job in his first year. We're already seeing what he can do with an offseason fully entrenched as the LSU head coach, let's hope he keeps it up.

Most of us thought he sounded a lot like Saban in his post hiring pressers/interviews. There really weren’t a ton of detractors…at least not enough to worry about.
