McWoodward thinks that NIL $$$$ is gonna make a big difference this season.

Don't think so.

He's just wasting this season and burning off another year of buy out $$$$ until it's time for McHallman's "Farewell & Adieu."

I say instead of giving him a raise, give him whatever stadium upgrades he wants.

He'll get bumped to 3.1 million a year to go past Vitello.

we may be naive but I 100% agree. I think Jay’s own comp is pretty low on his list of his priorities. he is in his dream job. Leaving for the pros would be a Saban/Miami repeat. He wouldn’t make THAT much more money in the pros and would have to deal with LA/NY $$ backing etc. it would be extremely difficult to duplicate an environment like he has here with regard to quality of life, rabid fan support and loyalty (among other things). woodward will take care of him. low on my list of worries bc woodward has zero qualms about writing large checks as we know!

Now mind you, people can change their minds, but Jay addressed this after the 2023 ship when he said—exact quote—“I wouldn’t leave LSU to manage the New York Yankees.”

I personally think CJJ is like Saban—his coaching style and his way of doing things is much better suited for college than the pros.

He will have a new contract waiting in Baton Rouge very soon.
