Larson pinch hit was CLUTCH

“Clutch” is used far too often on this board. In this case, it’s perfect. Larson was clutch.

Look man im gonna keep it real here:

LSU has been lifeless the last week and a half. They came home and were fortunate that Bama pitched backwards, and, yet, with our ace we were still pushed to the limit to get a struggle win against a mid-level SEC team that doesn’t have a fraction of the tradition or recruiting resources etc that LSU has. It took some bad errors by them fot LSU to hang in the game.

Jay has been underwhelming the last couple seasons, aside from spending a lot of NiL money to buy players. Hopefully he can grow and get this team playing to its potential.

It was lifeless last weekend.

5 run win.
we didn’t bat in the 9th

a mid-level SEC team

The conference you admit has half the teams that matter in the entire country

that doesn’t have a fraction of the tradition or recruiting resources etc that LSU has.

Tradition doesn’t win games
Neal and Lebron don’t olay for free

only 1 unearned run out of 11

31-6 11-5 you’re a joke

Trusted Mayers enough to get an inning out him and keep the game close, then went to Evans

Lol, I'm on your side overall here but this is churching it up a bit. Mayers threw 10 pitches, faced 2 batters, and got 1 out.

We nearly doubled them up

LSU scored one unearned run all night

You can have that run back. LSU beat the no. 15 team in the country 10-6 tonight.

Why are you here? You clearly don't like LSU and you know next to nothing about the sport.

What does this have to do with anything? Why do recruiting rankings and tradition matter only when it's to minimize what LSU has done? You love to throw out how irrelevant they are when it comes to Jay's recruiting success.

The "last couple seasons" include a national title, an out away from being in the supers after replacing the top 6 arms and 6 of the top 9 in the lineup, and a top 10 team in the country. Just underwhelming misery I tell ya.

Over in Atlanta working this week. Went to sleep when it was 5-1. Glad they won. Did Jones ever do ANYTHING? Seems to me he needs to sit for a while.

I don't know why you all continue to engage with him. He never argues in good faith and would just disappear if people stopped responding to him.

I’m not bragging. I’m asking you who gets credit for the game? You’ve yet to give an answer other than actually giving Bama credit for our (potential) win.

MG. Don't debate with this trolling clown. He post stupid crap 1) he's stupid and 2) he craves attention.

I haven’t seen anybody mention this but chasing their lefty heighberger (something like that) from the game was HUGE and it was a masterclass. Jay pinch hit Pearson for Braswell after Brown walked. Camera zooms on the big boy in the right handed batters box, John Pearson. Bama takes mound visit for pitching change.

Back from commercial, new rag arm righty on bump, Pearson now at the plate but from the left side and 50 lbs smaller.. oh Josh Pearson pinch hitting for his bigger lil brother John, who never saw a pitch, but started the rally that two batters led to some smooth swinging lefty named Ashton bringing some swagger back to the lineup with a bomb to diamond deck (I hope the rally boobs were going crazy)

Baseballs a weird game where pinch hitting a pinch hitter could bruise an ego (I mean unless it’s your literal brother) and watching your teammate who hasn’t hit for shite in a game setting this calendar year deliver in a huge moment can lift up everyone else.

College baseball is basically the SEC & ACC now (which represented all 8 teams in last year’s CWS)
so what you’re saying is the SEC and ACC have gotten a lot more talented than they used to be.
