I told my brother I would have left Acken pitch in the 9th but the first base runner he allows he is pulled. But just to pull him, I would not have done that.

Over managing. Why do coaches do that? Just over thinking it. Ack was throwing well. If he gets in trouble take him out but he had it going on.

He’s not a high stress reliever. If LSU had a 2-3 run lead, ok. Not a 1 run lead.

The next batter couldn't do shite with the fastball and was jammed so bad he almost broke his bad. The pitch was executed well.

I admitted it, but I saw a pitcher keep winding up trying to throw it by the guy and the guy kept making contact. He’s sitting on the fastball. Wouldn’t a change of pace catch the guy off balance.
He may have jammed him, but the results were positive for UNC, an RBI!
Pence is blowing it but Neal, jump wasn’t blowing it by anyone

Yet before Ack went in people were screaming for Jump. We had our best available arm who was available for 1 inning to win the regional. I'll take that everytime. Just cause it didn't work doesn't mean it was the wrong move.
