He has rarely ever been in space and almost never made a guy miss. HUGE difference between running past a guy and making a guy miss. Good NFL WR speed, def not average. But below average hands, below average route running, below average agility...he is not a good WR. And I really like the guy, but no one can objectively look at his LSU days and think he has NFL in him

Really? Where have I expressed full on JJ love other than calling out morons in this thread that want to blame the most successful coach in school history because their favorite players were busts?

Every fricking post of yours in this thread is a dig and insult toward Jefferson. You can't be taken serious.

You missed his first two years at LSU all together.

Can you admit your favorite butt buddy, JJ, was a bust?

Because, he was a fricking waste of a scholarship. A complete bust! Admit it?

You must have. Before he was turned into a full time WR, he made people miss, ran well in open field and displayed the ability to run inside. Things people continually say never happened.

The problem is his rushed dropped from over 30 in 2010 to only 7 in 2011. Still has over a 7 YPC for his career.

Freshman highlights

His carries dropped dramatically over his career as he was moved outside almost full time. He as never a WR. He did have a lot of success running the ball.

I didn't miss his first two years. He was worse in them. He developed some reciever skills and got physically stronger over his career at lsu. Still propably not NFL material though.

I've come to belie you post this ridiculous shite as a troll attempt.

You would be the only human who actually believes this. His production dropped dramatically the last two years. His most productive year, by far...was 2010

So is this about JL or RS? I mean who's this pro day for again? Why are we even talking about JL? And where did JJ come from? I'm willing to bet that a lot of the people who are still hung up on the JL/JJ thing are still waiting for the south to rise again..

whats worse is that the people who never got over the JL/JJ years are now trying to turn the Rettig/Jennings commitments into round 2.

The hand slap looks awkward enough to believe it was photo-shopped. Does Jefferson's right arm look that much skinnier than his left?

So you just showed his Freshman highlights that were mostly against Tulane, ULL, La Tech with some SEC mixed in. The tape was littered with 5-7 yard wildcat and misdirection plays. You literally proved my point. The dude is fast, but that's it. LSU actually did a decent job in creating misdirection with motion and fakes to get him space on the outside that year...which is why he was solid. We stopped doing that the last 2 years and ran a much more run oriented style of offense so he had to play receiver. He is below average to not good at WR. Do you really think the coaches were like "Hey, this guy is better than James Wright but I just don't want to play him." He cannot catch, he fights the ball every time, and he runs inaccurate routes. That's why he's so hard to throw to because he's not consistent.

We are not talking about whether he is a good guy, or if LSU screwed him...we are talking about him playing in the NFL. I feel like a crazy person because other than straight line speed nothing in his game translates to the NFL. So I don't understand how people can say he will. And I'm sure I'll get bashed saying I'm a negatiger blah blah blah. It has nothing to do with him as a PERSON, but he's a very average football player and average football players don't play in the National Football League.
