I actually don't think he "doesn't get it" or whatever, I think he really just doesn't give a shite. He's paid and having fun. If I had 60 mill I'd be hard pressed to have a want to study or work

Why do so many moronic LSU fans keep acting like JR was a dolt with no brains. The guy is actually quite bright. He's gone through a lot since coming into the NFL much of which was out of his control and some that was within his control, but the guy has all the tools. I, for one, see him doing well on another team under REAL coaching.
He'll get another chance and hopefully shut up some of you racist dolts out their that call yourselves LSU fans.

Horrible comparison. AS didn't warrant the #1 overall pick, but for getting such a raw deal with respect to everything around him, he's done alright. This will be his make or break year. As of now he has a starting job and is an average starting QB in the league with the potential to surprise a lot of people this year if everything goes well.
But to compare him to JM is absurd. If JM had half of the intelligence and ethic Smith has he'd be All-Pro.

JR hardly played his 1st yr(2 starts) and had a somewhat decent 2nd season(15 starts 13td/8int). then he had a horrible 3rd season of about 8 starts.
he's still only 24 turning 25 and have had 3 different OC's.
if he gets cut, i guarantee someone will pick him up.

It's pretty easy to tell on this site when someone is just hating on a kid and assuming he's dumb. The racism against some players has been an embarrassment for the LSU fanbase.
As for his work effort. I agree. He doesn't work hard at all, but that doesn't make him stupid.

Not one said that he would be paid more than the league minimum by another team. Fortunately for JR, if cut, he would still be owed three million next season.
