I don't understand how some fail to see this. I guess they will just blame that on his OL and WR though.

his weight issue is a direct correlation to his dicipline and commitment.

IF your job paid you millions, wouldnt you do everything in your power to do it to the best of your ability.

coming into camp as a fatass just shows he a lazy good for nothing arse

JR's biggest problem right now is immaturity, it will take awhile for him to "growup".

A-fricking-men.
If I was his age and had his paycheck I'd gain weight in the offseason too.
Wisdom comes with experience.
I'm sure ya'll knew everything about everything at his age though.

That's the first time i saw the pics. Most of the time you hear "overweight" it's 15 lbs max. That's rough, I can't defend that. He will lose out to Garcia. That doesn't make him a bad Tiger in anyway though.

for his first year starting he had a good year last year and he allegedly showed up in worse shape than this year. 'scuse me if i wait to see what he does actually ON THE FIELD before I call him "good for nothing."

He's a quarterback; not a wide reciever or running back. QBs are not the most conditioned guys on the field and they don't have to be; have you ever seen peyton manning w/ his shirt off? he ain't exactly rocking a six pack down there.

I wouldn't. Or if I did gain some it'd be gone by training camp.

then you are an idiot just like him. maturity does not have anything to do with it. lebron came into the NBA 2 yrs younger than JR. he has been a pro since the start, because he respects himself and the game he plays knowing he is priveleged to make large amounts of money to play a game. immaturity? what an assanine copout

It was on ESPN a couple weeks back. He tried to take charge by going to all OTAs and being a leader (or some other practices) and he didn't show up to one of them.

Laughable. He did not have a good year. It wasn't bad, but saying it was good is simply not true.

check your link chief because that's not that's not what happened at all. he missed the last voluntary workout; he attended all others. if you're going to slam him get your facts straight.

you need to grab a dictionary, look up the words "intelligence", "maturity", and "lazy", then re-read your horrible post and try to discern where you've gone wrong

for a first year starter and the youngest QB in the league 77 is a good rating. if he doesn't improve on that it will be cause for concern obviously.

yeah but tha main problem was tha OL, they had talented backs behind them, LSU always does, but tha line that year, big Herm and Co. were completely inexperienced.

So you and many others that "hate" on Jamarcus might give Farve a free pass for being a gunslinger that doesn't have the best attitude about off the field work? Then you critisize Jamarcus even though he continues to improve on the field... That just shows that you and others have some kind of non-football related dislike of an LSU alum, even while he works on being more successful. And that is a shame.

Look at the pics posted of him. A few more biscuits and he could be a Terrance Cody type Nose Guard. He's the Oliver Miller of the NFL.

yes you were way off, you said he skipped ALL of the OTAs and all he missed was the final one. care to guess how many Garcia missed? I understand that the facts frick up the point you were trying to make but don't minimize it just because you got called out on it.

seriously how many OTAs did garcia miss?

it amazes me that the same type of label hasn't been placed on Leinart or VY for that matter.
JR should have won a NC like those 2 then it would be all good.
