He WAS the depth chart. But I guess Wade didn't give him a warm fuzzy feeling.

Guess we can use the “he inherited no players” to give him 5 years before he has to win excuse or did your standards suddenly do another 180?

Or, youre as dumb as dirt.

Wither way, point stands. POS would not relay to the press if he was worried (which he absolutely is)

I will most certainly give him a pass year 1, even without an NOA. But if he is truly getting $12m in NIL he will need to produce in year 2.

He’ll probably produce in Year 1. We’re not talking about McMahon here who needs 11 seasons and Bill Gates’ portfolio just to get on the bubble.

Programs don’t disclose NIL to the public. This is just an excuse/weapon mcmen have been using since Woody and his sock puppet fed it to them last spring. They change the number to whatever suits their argument as we saw all this past season.

Sir Matt McMahon makes Trent Johnson look like John Wooden!

This is bullshite!
It seems to me that a lot of folks cheered, laughed and skewered McMahon by taking great joy in in the misery of each tough loss by our Tigers. This past team fought hard with no support and lost a lot of close games. No one should have taken pleasure with the McLoser, McXxxxx posts.

McMahon didn’t deserve any more time and we all knew that.

I’m not and never was that enamored with Wade but there’s no doubt he energized the program. Regardless I’m hoping he is successful because I bleed purple and gold.

No real supporter of LSU wants our Tigers to lose let alone hope for failure although our fanbase has many who seem to take perverse pleasure in doing such.

One poster did this and it was once we were out of post season contention this past season.

Raises hand. And it was for the betterment of the program.

I would trade five football nattys for just one MBB title. The fact that the McMahon era went into a fourth chapter was a disgrace and a slap in the face to the fans.

If I had to pull for blowout losses once there was nothing left to play for to stop the bleeding, then so be it.

I’d be willing to be you went that far in response to the hyperbole and intellectual dishonesty from the mcmen. We all knew what was going to happen, you didn’t have to take that position but you did it to make a point. I get it completely.

Trent Johnson was terrible. But AT LEAST he coached us to an SEC title and an NCAA Ty invite.

I truly believe that CMM would never have gotten LSU to better than 9-9 in the SEC.

Is it fair to say WW met with each of the players entering the portal and decided that was mutually best? I mean there was not one young man on the roster he wanted and we could afford at his particular position/slot money value?

Well that’s just it, his teams didn’t play the type of basketball that could win consistently. If he would’ve been around 9-9 every year that’s a different story, what some couldn’t see was the fact that it couldn’t happen regardless of talent. Rutgers had 2 lottery picks on the same team a year ago and was a sub .500 team. You still have to do the things it takes to win and MMs teams didn’t do them…..

Btw loved that 09 team, Marcus Thorton was a dog, Taz is such an underrated LSU player. He’s top 5 alltime in a bunch of categories here.

Wade has much more money to shop with compared to Mac.....there are no excuses for not fixing the roster. Maybe Reece will be back.

What are the figures?

You honestly think Wade (who breathes the game of basketball) doesn’t have a plan for filling out the roster? As I’ve stated before it is better than mismanaging the budget and overpaying for subpar production.
