So not reading all of this. Was this punch witnessed? is there video footage? Is there anything to connect mills to this females injuries other than her story?

A witness corroborated the victim's story and he was picked out of a line up.

Give it two more hours and people will be on here defending him and bashing the girl.

I could pick Mills out of line up and I have never seen him in person in my life.
The story just seems contrived. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Just stop. Other than her injuries, (really?) the fact he didn't show up to the meeting and avoided calls says a lot.

So a non biased credible witness, good.
And if the friend witnessed all of it why was the girl looking for the friend in the first place?

Actually it was pretty smart. He will now have an attorney present for any discussions with the police or investigators.

Whatever the story is, it ends with him knocking her out and busting her lip.

^this. There is something not being told. Unless Mills is a sociopath there has to be a reason that he cold cocked her. I have no Idea what that it could be, but there has to be something

This. Unlike some white knights here who are holding onto some quaint notion of chivalry, I could see certain circumstances where his initial actions could be justified. However, his subsequent actions are pretty damning IMO.

I see people in my office every day with total BS impossible stories of how they got injuries.

Possibly, about his decision process or his maturity but not about his guilt. Just because someone wants to meet with you, including the cops, does not mean you have to comply unless under arrest or court order.

He just said he didn't read through the entire thread dumbass. This is exactly the type of info he was looking for.

Should have got a lawyer and faced the music. He wasn't going to be able jam the LEOs for long or avoid the interference call.

sorry you don't want the legal system to play out. we have all summer so we don't need to rush to kick someone off without giving them due process. What if Jalen was scared because he hasn't been in trouble before? Scared people do dumb things all the time. He isn't guilty because he missed some phone calls, he is just dumb for not going to Miles first and getting a attorney to come with him.

Anybody want to direct me to a post with a timeline or something? What subsequent actions did he take?

No dude there is NO CIRCUMSTANCE that can justify hitting a woman. Even if your own life is in danger YOU CANT HIT A WOMAN.

Or he couldve pushed her away and she couldve fallen. Its possible he punched her, theres also a shite ton of other possibilities as well. But since you were there and saw it, you KNOW he knocked her out. Hope you gave the cops your statement.
