You really don’t see the difference between when Hannibal runs point vs Cook? He didn’t have a great second half, but every decent offensive possession we had was with him in control.

I was told Cook and Baker were the impact players this year. All Cook and Baker do is throw up quick 3s. Cook is a liability on defense & Baker can’t rebound.

We look better without them, and we definitely get better looks in general when Cook is not on the floor.

People were wondering why Gaines played over Cook. When you’ve got Cam Thomas and Javonte Smart, the last thing you need is a ball dominant guard trying to force shots to pad stats.

42% from the field is pretty bad

I don’t agree that we’re worse with Cook. We desperately need his shotmaking

Would have been better if Cook hit some shots!

I didn’t say Hannibal was bad at all but we saw what happened with him starting last season. He's just too limited on offense to play heavy minutes. The goal is to win no? To win your best players have to be put in the best position to succeed. That’s what hasn’t happened for over a year and a half so far under MM. just saying player X should play because he had a nice stretch the previous game isn’t sustainable.

What’s his stat line the last 4 games? Ward is a more consistent outside threat & Wright is a more consistent general threat.

He did hit some but you can’t play yard ball and win in the SEC. It doesn’t matter who you recruit or bring in.

Ward not starting and playing big minutes is pure stupidity. Also another poor coaching decision.

He was FOUR of fricking THIRTEEN so yes I guess he technically hit some. Coaches fault he had the second worst night from the field. Just edging out Ward who didn’t hit a field goal.

Sure Hannibal having a jump shot would help. I don’t think they need to bench cook entirely, I just don’t like him as the guy you put in control of the offense.

He’s not a leader, he doesn’t seem to be a very heady player, and he totally neuters us when not shooting well.

The guy seems like he should have been recruited as a 2.

My guy, do you know how hard it is to go 1-4 every possession? To be playing driveway basketball when the other team is playing high level SEC basketball? The players can’t just go out there and do it all alone. For decades our fans understood this but now that MM is here every standard and all common sense has been tossed out the window.

You have to run something on offense. 1 high screen isn’t going to cut it. Did you see what we looked like before Cook?

Ward should play more than he does but he’s mostly been a catch and shoot 3 guy so far this year. I do like how he and Mike Williams are developing. When we need offense I’d like to see McMahon say frick it and play Cook/Williams/Ward/Wright together and try to hit people with a barrage of 3’s

Wright is better than Cook. The issue is that Wright and Cook are far and way out two best offensive initiators and it puts a ton of pressure on them.

What’s funny? Better yet can you tell me what offense we run?

What’s funny is you thinking you know more ball than people that do it for a living. You speak in generalities. You never break shite down either. I’ve never claimed to be an expert, in fact I know very little about X’s and O’s of basketball and will never claim to know it.

But one thing I do know is that a coach of a D1 program knows more about ball and his personnel than some fricking dipshit that posts on the Internet and is ate up with culture war bullshite all the time like you.

But that’s what separates us, I’m at least man enough to acknowledge my shortcomings. You are just some random dickhead that thinks he knows everything

So a bunch of personal attacks, false presumptions and accusations? Well you’ve got me there, that’s an offense I’ve never heard of.
