Ouch. This team is cursed. It's the Damn Yankees, deja vu all over again.

I honestly have not been paying much attention the last couple weeks. Do we know when he injured it?

and his .218 SEC batting average.
LSU needs a healthy JB. Hopefully he will come back next year ready to play.

His bat has been off for 3-4 weeks already. It could be a deal like Nussmeier where he's been playing hurt for a while

I rewatched his last AB on sunday, he either injured it or reaggravated it on the 2nd pitch he fouled off. You can see him try to shake the pain off. He struck out on the next pitch. And even made a diving attempt on a ball in the next inning

We now also have an explanation on all the "Jake Brown looks lost right now" comments. Not that they were wrong to point it out by any means. But this is a reason that would have been happening.
similar to Dickonson’s post season struggles following game 1 of the regional.

Remember how he went down awkwardly for that foul ball. Was that the injury?

That one was a little more telegraphed because he just started bunting a lot more and kept moving down the line up 1 spot every other game.

prior to last weekend he'd hit 4 HRs his previous 5 games, and they weren't wall scrapers. I don't think he was hurt until sometime this past weekend.

Jay said it happened in his 3rd AB on Sunday. Maybe it could have already been bothering him and that swing officially did it.

Considering how pissed off Jay is about this years team, next years team could be a super team. He isn’t playing around this offseason I can promise you. But in the end in this era, money is the deciding factor with the best players. Let’s see what they give Jay to spend

I really hope this doesn’t impact his draft position.

Yeah when the guy who usually hits 2nd in the order gets moved down to 8th and bunting with 2 outs, something is up
