Why on earth would you think Les would go there

Because LSU "fans" are the worst fans on the planet. Just scroll through this thread alone and the stupid just jumps out at you.
Well, if he couldn't stand constructive criticisms then let him go. Most nega-fans who criticize him is for the good of the fb program when they see things go wrong and would like to see them corrected. After all, nobody is above LSU.

My God, it would be epically hilarious if Miles left for Arkansas. It would almost be worth it to see all the a-holes begging for him to leave for 8 years get what they want then talk about what a traitor he is.

He doesn't need shite bumped. He should be fricking thrilled with his current salary.

LSU better call his bluff He doesn't deserve a fricking raise. He is paid quite handsomely as it is.
So who you gonna hire when he bolts with his uncommitted recruiting class??? his top notch DC???
and we are left holding an empty shite bucket...

I like CLM and hope he stays. But he should cut this shite off now. He's well paid regardless of where he coaches. If he wants to go, so be it. But if he wants to stay he should kill this shite now.
I'm all for a pay raise if he thinks he needs one, but ask for it. Don't pull this stunt.

Wait, you seriously believe this.

It took him a long time though.

I like Les very much as a coach, but if he left all bets are off. I'd hire Petrino and have all the leverage in the world in dealing with him. Petrino at LSU would beat the piss out of Miles at Arky. Petrino at LSU would also beat Saban more often than not.

anyone

If there really is an offer on the table then it is all Arkansas' doing. Couldn't blame them, get a coach with a NC that wins 80% of his games, and possibly drop the quality of your in-division rivals.
Couldn't blame Les for trying to get what he can for himself and his assistants, I see nothing wrong with the situation as long as he doesn't decide to hold the program hostage.

Agree. Les makes more in one calendar year, than my father did in 35 years loading and unloading a milk truck. Enough is enough. Les is a good coach but he is not Urban Myer or Nick Saban. If he cares so much about LSU to leave for Arkansas, then good riddances to him. I for one, don't want to be held hostage to Miles' demands when he feels he isn't being paid fair market value.
Our country is facing impending unemployment and a likely re-occuring recession in 2013 and the average blue collar worker out there is struggling. I like coach Miles, but I am tired of this BS every two to three years. If Miles is a man of his word to the adminstration and to his players, he will stay loyal to the contract that he signed with LSU. If he doesn't care and wants to leave, then by all means don't let the door hit your arse on the way out. period.

Every week during football season, I read about how people here are sick of how we play down to our competition. Well, where does that come from?
Miles is like Obama. Criticize him and you're labeled as "crazy."

I honestly think its because of Les' "players-coach" mentality
