If that is indeed true Myles needs to hit the transfer portal tommrow.
That would actually make the decision to select the starter much more serious and swiftly.

If Myles hit the portal tomorrow then I don't think it would have any effect on CBK naming a starter. I think CBK knows who his top 2 are and he doesn't give a rip about anyone's feelings - he just cares about winning and what's best for the program

I know someone who went to the coaches caravan in Shreveport a few months ago. He is a pretty big donor. CBK sat down with a few of these guys and told them Nuss was the most talented of the returning guys. His problem is he wants to win the game on every pass. They wanted him to really study the new playbook and learn how to live to play another down. If he did those 2 things he would be in good shape.

Wow, thanks for sharing! Btw, how does a town the size of Zachary not have a Chic-fil-a?

We have the top WR group in the SEC. IMO, we’ll have a pocket passer. Not a dual threat.

It’s not like we had a stable of proven QB’s here.
BK specifically said in the spring game that they were changing his throwing motion. Which was the reason for the uncomfortable throws he put up most of the game.

If Daniels starts, it will be a long season. He is not SEC caliber and he is too small to be a running QB in the SEC.

They haven't found the right lot yet. From my understanding they will wait 10 years to find the right spot in a town.

Whether he'll be an effective QB who plays/starts in the SEC will probably depend on him learning to take what is given sometimes. He has a great arm and can sling it anywhere on the field, but accuracy and decision making are the big question marks (though that's not that unique when it comes to QBs).

It would mean you have 3 QB and a few injuries away from a true freshman starting

So in 3 years and his coaches at Arizona which coached in the NFL never thought to do that?

I still don't think MB transferring would matter at all when it comes to naming the starter because he's not relevant. The entire depth thing is overrated anyway, has there ever been a year where our top 2 qb's are injured? I don't think that's ever happened

Also - if our top 2 qb's get hurt and we have to start Walker then that's God telling us that it's Walker time

Players can develop bad habits due to injuries, and and constant pressure. Maybe that’s a question for the AZ St. staff.

They didn’t say throwing motion, they said footwork

Stop trying to discredit the kid, he's not Max or TJ.

I hope you aren't talking about Jayden Daniels.

If so you right he definitely isn't Max Johnson. No where near as good as Max.

This was always a Nuss v Daniels competition. Since he arrived I’ve said it’s Jayden Daniels and it’s looking more likely but would’ve been happy either, whoever won the competition

If Nuss can snatch the job from JD, he deserves it but this competition started in the fall and never ended. It continued through summer and that’s where the separation occurred and has continued through the fall.

IMO, Myles wasn’t doing what he needed to be where Nuss and JD are right now and that’s the sad truth.

You MB fans can’t want it more than him. Don’t feel bad, nobody has benefited more from NIL without having to take the field

We are 3 weeks from game one, it isn't the time to be doing stuff like that

We were four weeks from the first game when these things happened. Monday’s practice (today) is when you get your starter in place and taking about 75% of the first team reps. We will know by the end of this week.

Personally, I would expect it to be Daniels if he improved his mechanics like they were asking him to in the spring.

It might be Daniels, but don’t expect his mechanics to have improved.

The tales are getting worse and worse. I cannot wait for the season to start.
