It [Brennan transferring] would mean you have 3 QB and a few injuries away from a true freshman starting
I doubt college coaches spend much time worrying about their no. 3 QB. If the first two QBs get injured, then you just have to chalk it up to terrible luck and move forward as best you can. But that almost never happens.

(Now yes, I remember when Ohio State won the NC with a 3rd string guy, but that's an extreme outlier.)

Exactly, and he wasn't there, so how can anyone name a leader til they're both put in a scrimmage situation with 1s.

Because Availability is the most important ability.

You are correct. Thank you. He spoke of him not getting on top of the ball because of the footwork.

Dream on. Hester said this morning that Brennan had his best day of practice, Saturday.
The old Vets know it's not a "sprint". Let the young dogs wear themselves out then "kick" to the finish line.

That’s understandable. And realistically, improving the footwork doesn’t necessarily mean improved accuracy. But I believe that if it has, Daniel’s has to be the guy just based on his experience and decision making along with the added bonus of athleticism.

I wish him the best. He has been a warrior and a dedicated Tiger. Life is a tricky road.
