Has the body of an outside LB/DE and the speed and athleticism of a safety. Could be pretty nasty with Aranda as tutor.

My little brother played against him in high school. One of his coaches put it perfectly. "Jacoby Stevens is the only guy I've ever coached against that can play safety or defensive end"

Edge rushes are more sought after than safeties...may be a place for him at the next level

Roster lists him as 6'2" 225 lbs. He has 20 lbs on any other safety we have. Maybe he is growing into his position.

Athletic and similar to Chad Jones. Agree about jumping but the staff will get him in the game
