On that I agree, the 1st amendment is the 1st amendment. As someone who has always been in favor of Judicial Conservatism, which was when I was in my teens in the late 70's led me to become a Reaganite, the LSU players peacefully assembled and exercised their first amendment rights. THey did not protest and attack the police they did not disrespect the Military or the Flag, they did what every American has the right to do.

I don't know what all their concerns are. If they are wanting to support the organization BLM, then I 100% disagree, if they want LSU to work with say the State legislature and Governor to get an outpatient clinic in say North Baton Rouge (I don't think there is one up there) to address some of the health care discrepancies that COVID-19 revealed, I am for it. Hypothetically, lobby the state legislature and Governor by providing economic incentives for a Hospital (maybe an LSU Med school run clinic) to put one there to provide such services as blood pressure testing, colon and prostate and breast cancer screening, diabetes screening, etc, all things that early detection can help save "Black lives". Count me in. That will help Black lives and is something I was an Independent Conservative will get behind 100% .


THe narrative that BLM as an organization, and their ANTIFA allies are peaceful, on that one I am 100% not for.

And for the record, if you go to BLM website, it sounds like a marxist manifesto bullet point platform. Addressing police brutality and killing of Blacks ain't what that group is about, in fact, if you are a Black Male and believes in your role as a Father for your family, they ain't to kind to you guys at all. In fact, they specifically state they want to destroy patriarchal Father led family structures. They are pushing radical feminist marxist gender ideology Guys, that is the classic marxist attack on traditional family that has been going on in the USA since the 1960's.

People are being used by these organizations to push some rich secular white liberal leftist agenda.

And if you don't believe me, go read their website and read what they say in there own words.
