I was wondering why they gave them the bases when they made no attempt at advancing. Does the rule state that you automatically get a base just because a ball gets stuck?

The ball took a weird roll. Cade should have held the ball or tried to pick it up sooner, though I'm not sure he could have. That was a tough play.

Yeah, the starters outside Moore have been really bad. Needed to grab another starter out of the portal it seems.
Evans was great last year in relief. Maybe he’ll get there as a starter this year. But he’s not near there yet.
