I think they already do. It’s advantageous for programs that have the capital to reinvest in themselves while partnering with school engineering programs. LSU helped develop the ice trailers. Bama was one of the first designs for the injury tents. Football programs can really help develop different engineering and kinesiology disciplines if done correctly.
