LSU's offensive 'system' did not commit to utilizing the talent this young man and another very talent receiver had. Many similarities between him and Trey Quinn.

And Palmer. LSU has just been so loaded at WR that NFL prospects can’t get playing time. Last year was our worst for WRs and we were still loaded with Lacy, Daniels and Anderson, and with Hilton injured.

Can we just be glad for this young man? He was a bright spot when he was a freshman, but unfortunately followed it up with a tough season for him. I wish he could have stayed at LSU, but glad he found a spot that wound up being good for him. He seems like a great guy and he and his family are going through a terrible time.

False. He would have been our #1 this year. The staff chose K. Lacy who cost us a couple of games.

He played zero ranked teams this year and averaged 55 yards/ game in the last 7 games with only 3 TDs

He’s been through a lot and wish him the best but this fantasy people have about him being good, need to go put in tape of him at LSU.

He would have caught more balls than Lacy.

Doubtful

Quinn couldn't catch the ball for some reason when he got on the field

Tied for second most catches that year and had a horrifically bad QB starting that couldn't hit the broad side of the barn.

That one bad drop during the Bama game sure causes some revisionist history.

I think he could’ve taken Lacy’s spot as the #3 last year and definitely could’ve been a top 3 receiver this year. His move was always baffling to me. Maybe he was wanted the catches of a #1 receiver? TCU didn’t really provide that until this past year.
Loved watching Bech and rooted for him when others went against him, but the reason he left is because he was beat out by Lacy in the first place lol. Lacy took his spot the first year he transferred over. The next year as a #3 he had 550 and 7 TDs with JD5. Lacy didn't get worse, he had a worse QB throwing him the ball this year. Dont get me wrong, Nuss played good for the most part, but year 2 Daniels vs year 1 Daniels. Year 2 Burrow vs year 1 Burrow. Year 2 Mett vs year 1 Mett. Also they WRs they played with from year 1 to year 2. That's a completely different type of player. Lacy would have had 1200+ yards and 14+ TDs.

Also people continue to forget the Big 12 is notorious for high producing WRs NOT from Oklahoma, not panning out at the NFL level. Arizona and Colorado both have elite NFL receivers, but they had those guys while they were in the Pac 10, a conference known for producing good NFL receivers. TCU is a traditional Big 12 WR NFL bust factory. Bech is a Louisiana boy, so i will never count him out of NFL success though.

Not so sure about this. We were THIN at WR this past season. I feel like he couldve locked up a spot early in the season had he stayed.

Guys like Jack Bech and Josh Williams more than athletes, they are ambassadors.

Feeling happy for him. Sad to see him transfer.
