Covid restrictions played a big part.

He was never able to get on Campus to come see us with dad.

It was always going to be a hard pull, but I remember him saying he was looking forward to touring with his dad and going down memory lane.

Peyton Manning didn’t go to Ole Miss and I’m pretty sure Archie loves Ole Miss. that’s just one of a million examples.

Saw Jabari Sr after the Auburn game. We were the only LSU fans in the place. He came over, shook our hands and gave us a geaux tigers.

I remember on Jabari's senior night in 2000 I entered the SW portal of the PMAC as he was about to be introduced with his family. This mountain of a man was crying like a baby and I heard him say " I am so blessed Coach Brady and Butch never gave up on me and gave me this chance to play here before these fans."

Great to see athletes so appreciative . Jabari was always a fan favorite and the kind of guy you can root for.

He’s one of the top players in Texas

Per Jordy’s interview last week with Tack, their house is pimped out with LSU gear. Made Jimbo feel awkward as hell to hear him tell it lol

Looks like he is a one and done player at Auburn. Will Wade was recently interviewed as saying he wants players that stay for a longer than a year to build a program that he thinks is can sustain success on the national level for years to come.

We did. We were always in his top 4 or 5. Not ever being able to come to campus for a visit ended up sealing the deal for Auburn.

I'm pretty sure Auburn won out due to proximity to his home of Atlanta
Wanted to be closer to home
I know LSU had interest but I don't think it ever got anywhere close to where LSU was a finalist

Everytime I think about old players I eventually come to remember Jamie Lloreda. Dude avg'd a double-double for us. Never hear him spoke about. Loved his fire

He’s going to be 1.1 in next years draft, and likely SEC POTY
