I've watched Leavitt throwing motion all year...He is not setting up.

Before you say, it is the offensive line fault.. The past three games I have watched him throw the ball. Even when he does have time..

He is not setting up and following through .
In some of his passes, he is throwing off his back foot.

That leads to the ball sailing.

He needs to work on his accuracy. That pass to #44 at the goal line was off balance

I really would like to see Clark start at QB. I think he is a better passer.

I’ll say this. Today, he’s not the guy. To be fair the former #5 here looked very similar in the opener against Florida State and I said the same thing. This ain’t the dude. Then he went win a Heisman. He’s not seeing the field, he doesn’t trust his eyes and the unfortunate, possibly unfixable thing is he’s not very accurate. I believe next week will be the make or break game. If he’s not progressing that may be it for at least this year.

Terrible footwork, no rhythm, and an elongated throwing motion(leads to batted passes).

He also has more batted balls than I’ve ever seen for a QB that’s at least 6’ tall. His throwing motion is not polished. You can see good QBs with a short compact throwing motion that mostly comes over the top. Maybe not every single play but at least in the pocket.

Maybe so, but what is going on with the tip balls? I don’t ever recall seeing a QB with so many through 3 games.

Someone pointed out this is unlikely based on Kiffin’s history with QB’s. I do hope hope to see Clark get close to a full half vs. Mcneese though.

Seems like a combo of him staring down his receivers and a slow throwing motion.

His throwing motion is too long, as soon as the d line sees him wind up they just jump and bat it or it bounces off their helmet like last night

His ball comes out too low.

The analytics show it's exactly the same and will actually be worse once SEC is in full swing.

He’s gotta have most batted down balls in fbs. It’s like he has no ability to find throwing lanes or process the angle to throw it or whatever you wanna call it. I just don’t think he’s the guy. All the reporters preseason praising his arm and accuracy…. Wtf were yall watching?

I think it’s potentially fixable, because it looks primarily to be an issue with him not setting his fricking feet, even when he has time to do so. Now, that’s not to say he’ll ever have crazy on the move accuracy, but I think his standard accuracy could be much improved.

unlike the past, I am going to trust our current coaching staff to address this. It is clearly why they are getting Clark in the game to get comfortable with game situations.

Lanes got his work cut out for him with Sam.Hes very impatient ,runs at first chance and throws off balance.Having said that I like his potential and he can lead LSU to victories but needs to be smarter.

His footwork under pressure is terrible.

You could see it immediately against Clemson.

His instinct is to run when under pressure. Some guys can change that. I’m not confident Leavitt will be able to.

We missed on 3 big plays because if it. At least 2 TDs.
