That was a phenomenal ending to a great draft for our program.
I've never been happier for an LSU Player.
Andy Reid will make him a superstar.
And its 100% deserved.
What a night for the program as far as exposure.

You could tell from the video conference with CEH how thrilled the Chiefs were that they could draft him.

Couldn’t ask for a better fit. KC runs a wide open offense. A back like Clyde is a perfect addition. That kind of movement coming out of the backfield will amplify the Chiefs’ ability to spread the field.

You beat me to the punch with this post. Of all of our players I am SO HAPPY for that young man! He's been counted out so many times................even within this program............and in the end he's a first rounder, and possibly the most versatile running back at LSU since Kevin Faulk.

That was the cherry on top. Queen should’ve gone earlier than he did, but aside from that, what an awesome 1st round.

Exactly, I read something where one of his scouts told him to watch film on CEH, that he would see Brian Westbrook who he had at Philly, he called the scout back and said "he's better than Westbrook" Reid is easily one of the top 3 coaches that know how to use a back like CEH, Reid usually gets RBs later, for him to take him 1st says it all, CEH will be in the running for OROY. GREAT fit, great team, great player. So happy for him

I was at the game, and the second he did that spin move, I blinked. The next thing I knew he was only a couple feet from the end zone. The defensive player thought for sure he had him in the backfield. The other play was when he dragged Bama players to get the 1st down. Like Joe said Clyde is a beast.

I was about to turn off the TV because all they were talking about at that point was Dobbs, Swift and Taylor. Then I said, nah I've waited this long, let's just see if they go for CEH. I know like many others here, I yelled out in excitement. What a great kid. Can't wait to watch him in the pros.
