I think this is the worst LSU team I’ve ever seen. 1999 used to be the year that stood out, though the offense was still decent. This team is on another level of bad.

When you combine these results, impending probation and the loss of revenue from Covid, we could be in for the need for a total rebuild.

1992 was so bad you had kids all over Baton Rouge wearing Miami, Notre Dame and Florida State Starter jackets.

It's at least 2005-2007 Ole Miss bad, and with no chicken on a stick.

92 was awful.. as was 91, 93, 94.. my undergrad years. Attendance was about the same as the current covid restricted games

This team reminds me of ‘99. Talent on the field, but the defense is terrible. Players don’t respect the coaches for whatever reason.

If an interim was to take over for one game, it would probably blast some unsuspecting team not named Bama.

We lost close games to good teams in 98 and 99.

35 years takes us back to 1985, baw.

So, in your mind 1999 and 2020 are worse than 1992?

I mean, 1999 wasn't a great football team, by any standards, but snakebitten - Just 3 scores and that team has a winning record.

1992's best (actually better, because there were only 2, but I digress) win was 24-3 over #18 Mississippi State. They posted 3-score losses to (admittedly Top 7 teams) Bama and Tennessee, as well as Arkansas, and were shut out 32-0 by Ole Miss.

1999 got beaten badly by unranked Auburn, Top 10 Florida, as well as embarrassing losses to Kentucky and Houston (in Tiger Stadium), but 1992 lost to Colorado State.

I don't think any team coached by Dinardo was as bad as the 1992 Hallman fiasco- which was the only team in a long, long, long time that had no players selected in the NFL draft following the season.

It's just too early to tell and COVID necessarily makes evaluating the 2020 team, objectively, a huge challenge.

More people tailgating than attending. I had a guy try to sell me tickets just before a game for $5. When I said no, he said here just take them.

This is no exaggeration. You could belly up to the ticket office and get 8 primo season tickets on the 50, halfway up. Everybody and their brother was jumping ship…

I was in college then. Losing at home to Colorado State was an all-timer. Good thing I brought a date that night. We had no trouble finding seats. That’s the worst LSU team by measure of lack of talent.

The ‘81 and ‘83 teams were bad but had some talent. The ‘81 team lost to Tulane 48-7. The ‘83 team is still the only LSU team to go 0-6 in the SEC but they routed Washington, which was in the top 10, 40-14.

I’m too young to remember the ‘74 and ‘75 teams but those were the teams that essentially got Charlie Mac fired. They went 4-7 in ‘75 but had pros Terry Robiskie, AJ Duhe and Dan Alexander.

Best to worse overnight. Orgeron was apparently a flash in the pan and now LSU is on the hook for $50 Million .........

I was trying to think of a game where we looked so bad against a mediocre to bad opponent, which I think this Auburn team is having seen them play several games this year.

First game that came to mind was Arkansas 1992 last game of the year at Arkansas, we lost to a losing Arkansas team 30-6.
