Don’t get me wrong I love Burrow. But he’s been wearing weird shite and acting weird. Man has put up tremendous numbers this season though. But JD is really a good dude. Always smiling. Helping opposing team members up. Strong Christian man. He makes it super hard not to root for the guy. I’m glad he claims LSU.

Being over 10 years old and even thinking about this much less posting it on the internet is beyond weird. You don’t need prayers, you need a psychiatrist

Obviously since Daniels and Burrow won Heismans, they are the top two.

Bert Jones was very good and there were others over the years including going way back to Y.A. Title.

I’m an LSU fan. Joe and Jayden are my two favorite LSU QB’s that have ever played here. I think comparing the two is something most LSU fans would do.
You made the effort to criticize me and judge me. I didn’t ask for prayers, although I won’t turn them away. I hope that you one day find the happiness that you deserve.

1. Bert Jones, Jim Taylor, and YA Tittle won an NFL MVP. So if someone says they are their favorite former Tiger, good for them.

2. I think the OP is just saying that he realizes he can relate to Daniels and he is proud of what he’s doing - on and off the field. We are already proud of Joe and now we’re all proud of Jayden for breaking the Heisman curse and really doing well in the league.

3. In the day and age of social media I think it does matter how you conduct yourself off the field. If we found out some athlete was committing domestic violence I think our opinion of that person would drop immediately, regardless of how good they were at scoring touchdowns. On the other hand, if somebody’s a really good guy, like Warrick Dunn or Big Whit, it makes it easier to root for them.

Not necessarily true, root canal....Tim Tebow comes to mind. Talk about a very religious, down to earth, all around nice guy....you dont get a better example than Tebow but yet the majority of NFL fans rooted against him.....said he was a talentless hack even though winning 2 nattys and a Heisman....ran him out of the league in 3 years even though he won a playoff game against the Steelers and couldnt even get a 3rd string QB spot .....fans will prey on the strong and weak equally.....whether they are good guys or not....

Tebow is an exception. He was a great college player who wasn’t that good in the NFL. The reason they did not ask him to try out for third team quarterback somewhere was because of the circus that comes with him. I really like the guy and as a fellow Christian, I respect everything he does. But he was not the long-term solution for an NFL franchise.

My point is: Like the OP saidDaniels is likable and relatable. Most nice guys are more likable and most bad guys are not more likable. ( There are exceptions of course.)

Burrow wears weird designer stuff but he acts pretty much the same as he always has

And he’s always been a weird arse guy. Love watching him play football, I’m infinitely grateful for what he did for LSU in 2019, but he has a serious case of autism or something. He's strange to the point that it’s hard to watch his interviews most of the time and I’m not sure if people just pretend to not notice that because he’s so good at football or what?

To the people saying so what about what he’s wearing. Y’all are the same people making fun of players like Cam Newton for what they wear,OBJ in the more recent years, and Caleb Williams for painting his nails.

Y’all are only saying so what because he’s the greatest LSU qb of all time.

I love both Burrow and JD, they’re fun to watch, and both represented LSU well so far. Yes, the weird clothes are definitely different, but I’m still going to pull for him.

Joe is a weird guy. Much more weird than he was in college, regardless of what people on here say about him always being like this. Sometimes I think the dude is gay tbh.

Bert was NFL MVP. That's how good he was.

He would absolutely light it up in this game today. Would be murder.
